There really hasn't been much to laugh about lately, Obama.

As a matter of fact, it's been downright depressing watching the bailouts fail while we, the little guy, must eventually pay for that failure. It's foolish to spend more money in order to save money... at least that's true to this huge degree.

Perhaps you are putting some business class you had in college to use here with the thinking that in order to make money, one must spend money. Ya... that's for starting up a business or increasing it's size, etc. The same concept can not be used for large countries in debt so far up to they eyebrows that spending more merely sinks us and causes us to become the "country that used to be great".

Do we really think it's too far fetched that Mr. BO may be in fact changing our country so dramatically that we are forced to become Socialists? Not really... all we have to do is look at his voting history, political career before 2009 and the decisions he is now making as our President; not to mention the people he bows down to.

None of our soldiers should ever feel that coming home is scary. Each of them should be welcomed home as a hero in their home state and their home town. They should long for the day to be in the arms of their loved ones not worried that they may never speak to them again. My son will be one of these brave soldiers and he will always be welcome in my home! And every soldier I see receives my gratitude.

Or perhaps the 70's really were good when Carter was in the Oval Office.

Can you please give us evidence of anyone who considers our military a threat to the US? Can you actually find a quote with a link to it where anyone says such a thing?

BTW: General David Petraeus supports Mr. Obama and has said Mr. Obama is most certainly keeping us safe and that torture is wrong.

Yes. That's General David Petraeus, the Republican hero. He supports President Obama.

The one saving grace is that nothing put in place can' be broken down later.

Unfortunately, it will have to fail FIRST.

But once it inevitably fails we must have pols ready to go with he backbone and determination to cut the federal budget, slash programs and take on the wrath of the pro-Mommy state MSM.

Cut budgets, cut taxes, slash programs and regualtions and the magic of the market will do the rest and the economy will bloom.

Unfortunaely, too many people have bought into he promie of "somehing for nothing" and will have o be greatly disapointed before they'll be ready to change course.

Iran is on the verge, possibly, of a major change. Meanwhile, In Washington DC, the furious wringing of hands continues.

No there hasn't. No there has not.

Well, isn't that what The Left said during the Bush Admin...that "they" (Bush and Cheney) would use the military against us? When in reality, it was Clinton/Reno/Wesley Clark/Anne Richards that used the Military against its own people: the Branch Davidians at Waco, Texas? Does that ring a bell, GIJ? How about Elian Gonzalez staring at a rifle barrel?

Keep drinking the Kool Aid, GIJ, keep drinking the Kool Aid.

Hey David... don't worry about not visiting... this was my most recent post and it was clear back on May 30th. :)

Thanks for the comment, as usual.... right on the money.

Well, summer is finally upon those of us in the northern Midwest states and we have to take some time and enjoy that, don't we Bug? It's such a short season.

Best always, I'll try not to be such a stranger!

May we each take the moment necessary out of this day and any day we feel the need to remember those who have gone before us in defense of our freedoms. Without them... we would not be "here"... we would be in chains. ~Bug~
