BLOG LINK:Another Black Conservative: Chris Matthews compares Obama to Carter

Lets see... that's about $125 a year x 9 years which comes out to $1,125 not spent between 40-49 years of age. Then at age 50 they recommend every other year instead of yearly after that which is about $1125 for those 18 years (50-69). So instead of spending $3,750 per woman, it would be about $1,250 with a supposed savings of $2,500 per woman.
I'm so glad that Obama's new national health care takes my health and welfare into account. Obama cares little for Americans and apparently even less for American women. This government task force and Obama will hold the blame for the women who die because they waited until the age of 50 rather than 40 to be screened. There are several documented cases where women were able to find, fight and defeat breast cancer due to early detection either through self examination or mammography.
So let me ask you this... is it worth the supposed $2,500 in health care savings if a woman loses her life do a lack of early detection? I was under the impression that every life is priceless.
New Breast Cancer Guidelines
For years, doctors basically advised adult women to receive regular mammograms. Simple logic. Identify a problem early, cure it early.
Now a task force has contradicted the American Cancer Society's guidelines that women get a base mammogram by the age of 40, and perhaps earlier for women whose family history of cancer elevates their cancer risk. The task force wants women to start getting mammograms at the age of 50 and repeating the test every two years.
Breast Cancer Screening: The Wrong Message
According to the data USPSTF collected, screening reduces the breast cancer death rate by 15%. In other words, one cancer death is prevented for every 1,904 women aged 40 to 49 who are screened for 10 years. This might not sound like much on paper, but what if you're that one woman whose life is spared? What if that one woman is your wife, your mother or your daughter?
The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) released recommendations yesterday that completely change the way women will be treated for breast cancer prevention. Their recommendations are as follows: The USPSTF panel…
“..recommends against routine screening mammography in women aged 40 to 49 years. The decision to start regular, biennial screening mammography before the age of 50 years should be an individual one and take patient context into account, including the patient's values regarding specific benefits and harms.”
Women of all ages get breast cancer. Ask any woman you know and they are sure to say that the benefits of getting ‘too many mammograms’ over the years far, far outweigh the risks of getting breast cancer. The recommendations by this panel are for primary care physicians across the country. These recommendations will also be taken into account by the insurance industry. When a government agency tells the insurance industry it is no longer recommending people get particular services, odds are many companies will jump on the bandwagon and only provide them according to the government recommendations, including any government run insurance.
Even the American Cancer Society has come out against this report:
“The USPSTF says that screening 1,339 women in their 50s to save one life makes screening worthwhile in that age group. Yet USPSTF also says screening 1,904 women ages 40 to 49 in order to save one life is not worthwhile. The American Cancer Society feels that in both cases, the lifesaving benefits of screening outweigh any potential harms. Surveys of women show that they are aware of these limitations, and also place high value on detecting breast cancer early."
Why has this recommendation come about now? Could it have anything to do with the public option that is now on the table and this is a pre-cursor to the rationing that will most definitely ensue as a result of that public option? Why would this panel make these recommendations now after so many years? If you take a look at who the panel is made up of you will see not one breast cancer expert and interestingly these recommendations are very similar to the guidelines that are currently in place in Canada. Obama owns this report. These recommendations are coming under HIS Administration. Obama’s Breast Cancer Panel is truly a ‘Death Panel’ for American women.

Yes... I am a little upset at this. To drill into our brains for years and years that we need mammograms at the age of 40 and then just "take it back" in one report... it's complete stupidity. The problem with this is that insurance companies will make their guidelines match those of this report. What does that mean for women in America? Well, that means if they want a mammogram at the age of 48 and they aren't considered high-risk, they are out of luck when it comes to insurance coverage. What will that in turn mean? Many of them won't get it done because the government has grabbed us from behind once more and screwed the average American by taking more and more of her hard earned money that she CAN'T AFFORD TO GET A MAMMOGRAM! And when she dies from breast cancer that will be one less person on Social Security. Hmmm... can you smell that... that's government health care?
Sarah Palin on Newsweek
The choice of photo for the cover of this week's Newsweek is unfortunate. When it comes to Sarah Palin, this "news" magazine has relished focusing on the irrelevant rather than the relevant. The Runner's World magazine one-page profile for which this photo was taken was all about health and fitness - a subject to which I am devoted and which is critically important to this nation. The out-of-context Newsweek approach is sexist and oh-so-expected by now. If anyone can learn anything from it: it shows why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, gender, or color of skin. The media will do anything to draw attention - even if out of context.
- Sarah Palin
Here's the thing... this picture does not even make me wonder how to "solve a problem like Sarah". It tells me she's fit and takes care of herself rather than sitting around eating crap all day and getting fat on politics the way so many others do. And how this picture shows she's "bad news for everyone" is also missed on me. Newsweek is sitting squarely on one side of the fence and the look naked when they're stupid.
Other delicious Newsweek Covers...
So... why on Earth do you suppose Newsweek has to come out and proclaim that Joe is no joke? One should never have to say that about someone... to defend them against the obvious. He is a joke and he's not the most common sense kind of guy they are trying to say he is. He opens his mouth and a whole shoe store falls out.
And this one... this one just takes the cake. Is your baby racist? Are you kidding me??

Mr. Obama's War
And why -- now almost ninety days since Gen. Stanley McChrystal’s report requesting a new strategy and troop reinforcements for Afghanistan -- has his “3 a.m. phone call” to the White House not been answered?
The answer is as clear as it is dangerous: our president’s war plans are rooted in his -- and his administration’s -- naiveté and political correctness.
About five weeks ago, I wrote that President Obama was stalling on Afghanistan because he didn’t want to commit to the long fight and the number of troops that Gen. McChrystal’s counterinsurgency strategy requires. Since then, leaks and trial balloons launched by the White House evidence support that precise judgment.
If we can win a counterinsurgency war in Afghanistan -- which I doubt, because we are fighting the enemy’s proxies, not the enemies themselves -- we would be fighting on Afghan soil not for years but decades. It would require an open-ended commitment which Obama will never make.
Obama will decide -- eventually -- on a “McChrystal Lite” strategy that will create the greatest danger to our troops while accomplishing the least. And there will be an exit strategy announced to cover the president’s rear in the 2012 election.
There is no worse, no more immoral strategy than to commit too little, to resolve on irresolution which will cost the most American lives while accomplishing nothing that lasts past the moment we withdraw and -- at the same time -- leaves the nations that sponsor terrorism untouched.

NATIONALGUARD.com | At This Moment
This is an awesome video!! Please watch!
I just returned from Fort Knox where my son graduated from Basic Training and AIT. I can barely describe the feeling of honor being in the presence of my own son... the pride in how far he's come from being 18 months old to 18 years old. It's so intense watching the ceremony... so simple and yet so meaningful. I could see it in the eyes of every the soldiers there... those that were not called soldiers until they got to that moment when they had achieved more than 99% of Americans will never achieve. They are all soldiers now and they will go on to whatever awaits them.
What he was told while he was there in training and what we as civilians are only getting a mere glance at is how horrible Afghanistan really is. Our president is sending our soldiers into a battle ground unfamiliar to us... into hell and into a place where we are murdered. We were winning before this… we were actually getting somewhere. Now we’re just dying and our enemies are taking full advantage of the inexperience of our Commander in Chief… the man who is supposed to know more than our troops, our generals. He knows nothing of battle but he surely knows how to stand on a podium and “grieve” for those who have fallen. No wait… he doesn’t really know how to do that either but he sure as hell knows how to give shout outs.
Oh, I don’t mean fight those who think differently… I mean simply state what you believe and let it go. One of their tactics is to make a person feel that their thoughts and beliefs are something to be ashamed of… something to be embarrassed and afraid of (and we know this based on Obama’s instructions to his followers to get in the faces of those who think differently… to intimidate). I am not ashamed or embarrassed or afraid… I am stronger now than I was two years ago. I know who I am and I demand that my government leave me the hell alone and stop trying to tell me what I can and cannot do.

To see the slide show... click here!!
And a few more links to give insight! I appreciate all of those who go out of their way to research and make sure what they post is as accurate as possible. It's so hard to know what is what these days with people posting and making stuff up. This blog is full of MY opinions... my opinions of fact (or supposed fact). :o)
Right is Right: Emails to Al Qaeda And Obama doesn't care. Why should he. Remember he was raised a Muslim. Then for 20 years he attended the Rev. Wright's church to hear more hatred being spewed about our country. He only quit Wright's church because the political heat was starting to coming down on him. Since the democrats just passed that hate crimes bill I wonder if we American are now a protected species. This animal that just killed and wounded Americans at Ft. Hood, did it out of hatred. Muslims who think like this killer, and the Rev. Wright who preaches hatred should all be locked up. I just can't let this go. Obama's actions are like a huge slap in the face to our military and a powerful signal that he has no interest in protecting us.
Another Black Conservative: US Aware That Hasan Tried To Contact Al Qaeda: "Now here is the big question, is the reason why the CIA did not share this information with the Army a result of the Justice Department looking for heads at the CIA?
It also turns out that Hasan had contact with a radical mosque in Virgina and the mosque leader, Anwar al Awlaki had much praise for Hasan's actions:"
David Drake: Obama Failed To Connect The Dots On Hasan's Fort Hood Terrorist Attack More and more information is coming out each day that Fort Hood Shooter Nidal Malik Hasan (pictured above) had ties to terrorism and al-Qaida, and his Radicalized Islamic religious beliefs were noted but intentionally overlooked or, perhaps, not acted upon because the uber-Liberalism of political correctness that is so pervasive in the U.S. Military at the behest and insistence of Liberals.Of course, this can only mean one thing: Dear Leader His Excellency Barack Hussein Obama, Junior failed to connect the dots.

6:50pm mtn time
Authorities have not identified the gunman publicly, but official sources have named Major Malik Nadal Hasan, a psychiatrist who reportedly didn't believe in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and wanted out of the military before he was set to be deployed overseas.
I suppose THIS event in Hasan's now "finished" life is far better than being deployed. Take 11 lives... destroy the dreams of those lives you've taken and utterly demolish the families of those who are now dead. Not only that... being dead himself much be far better than the alternative of being deployed and coming home again to his own family.
And this poor, poor man was apparently a victim of harassment per his cousin. So freaking what!!! He didn't feel we should be in Iraq and Afghanistan and instead of going... he killed 11 fellow soldiers and possibly killed particular ones not just firing randomly. His cousin claims he was a good American... really? If that were ever true, it isn't now. He ruined his name, his life and the lives of the families who have now lost loved ones for NO REASON AT ALL!
7:07pm mtn time
Still waiting for a press conference however the news claims there may have been another victim to pass away which would bring the deaths to 12 (not including the gunman because I don't feel the need to include his life as a loss).
When I heard the news today, I was at work and my stomach dropped when I learned this had happened on a military base where there are so many trained men and women who are working to protect American lives. On a personal note... I lost my breath momentarily because in just a week I fly out to another military base where my son is in AIT. He graduates next week and I'm very excited to see him again. I pause, however after hearing about the lives lost in Fort Hood. I celebrate my son's achievement and grieve for those who have lost their sons and daughters who have done so much to make it so my son could do what he is setting out to do.
Well, well... Mr. Hasan is NOT dead. So now what will happen to him? How many will come forward to his defense and claim it isn't his fault he feels what he feels and that HE'S the victim!
... maybe I'm jaded.
The soldiers on base do not carry weapons but have armed guards. They will increase those guards as a matter of community security. All because some mass murderer decided his life was far more important than the lives of 12 others. Lots of people are unhappy about Iraq and Afghanistan... but they don't shoot their fellow Americans.
I'm going to scream if people blame the military for this man's actions.
Just thought I would mention this... the young 13 year old son living in my house said the following after I told him what this "less than human being" did.
"He's a terrorist... here in America".
Ya... he is a terrorist. People think a terrorist has to be a certain type of person... a terrorist is someone who searches out others because of who they are and then kill or attempt to kill them in order to cause chaos and disorder. At least that's my definition. This man searched out certain people, killed them for his own purposes and will now claim it's because he was picked on. Disgusting.

Obama: "My immediate thoughts and prayers are with the wounded and with the families of the fallen."
Well, that explains why BO came on TV 2 1/2 hours after the shooting and then didn't mention Fort Hood until 2 minutes into his little speech about "the conference" and making sure he gave a "shout out" to someone of no significance at this particular time. Jerk!

This year we were supposed to have it available but have been told that we probably won't because there aren't enough companies making the REGULAR flu vaccine. They're too damn busy making the H1N1 vaccine and ignoring making the shot most of us want and/or need. I am not in a high risk category for the H1N1 so I certainly don't want the stupid shot... but I WAS planning on getting the regular one. Alas, I will get none and just keep myself healthy, eat my vitamin C and lots of grapefruits. Oh… and lots and lots of red meat (that’s for you Al Baby!).
So my question now is... how long before people start dropping like flies when they catch one of the three TOP flus this year (not H1N1) because they had to settle (and I do mean settle) for the F’ing Swine Flu shot!!!
I just happen to think it’s stupid to focus on one strain that is just as dangerous (or even less dangerous) than all the other strains. People die from the flu every year and making everyone panic over something unnecessarily tells me one thing. Those in charge (aka Obama) are using this to make themselves into heroes they can never honestly be without deceit, treachery and, dare I say, MURDER! I had to through that last word in there… it makes this post more dramatic.
What happens when two pigs mate that have the swine flu?

It's refreshing that lovely Jodie (cough) is keeping a calendar for people to use in order to kidnap American citizens. It's also so very cool that we can DONATE money to their cult in order to receive a "gift" of their brainwashing cards. And it's even more special that they provide a special "how to arrest a war criminal" guide. I'm hopeful some lunatic will take these lovely pink pukes at face value and go through with their suggestions... won't it be nice to see them behind bars.
From Code Pink's Site:
With your $10 donation you will receive a gift of our newest War Criminals playing cards--we hope the cards educate you and inspire you to grab a set of pink handcuffs and go make a citizen's arrest, yourself. Our "how-to-arrest-a-war-criminal" guide is included!
This post was inspired by David Drake: Jodie Evans of Code Pink Advocates Kidnapping of George W. and Laura Bush... a lovely written post that is polite, considerate and sensitive in the extreme. Oh wait... I'm sorry... I was thinking of someone else. I will refrain from using some of the lovely words he uses to describe the lovely ladies.
Another article: Jodie Evans Calls for Kidnapping of George and Laura Bush. I'm quite certain that Code Pink will stand up and shout that they are not advocating kidnapping... but making a citizens arrest when the law does not back you up is the same as kidnapping, don't cha know.

Little Soldier Girl "Didn't Want to Let Go"
Four-year old Paige didn't want to say goodbye to her daddy before he was shipped off to Iraq.
A family photo that shows a little girl beside her father and his fellow soldiers in uniform as they prepare to go to war has resonated well beyond the tight knit Bennethum clan.
I don't have a political comment to make regarding this article... nor any grand agenda for posting the picture. It just tugs at me when I see small children trying to be strong when they can't understand the possible consequences of a parent going off to war. For this child and many others it's just a matter of missing mom or dad and not knowing when they will be seen again.
Four-year-old Paige Bennethum really, really didn't want her daddy to go to Iraq.
So much so, that when Army Reservist Staff Sgt. Brett Bennethum lined up in formation at his deployment this July, she couldn't let go.
No one had the heart to pull her away.
Time flies for us... for adults... but for children it drags on and on into forever and nothing makes it go faster. It's being stuck in quicksand with the horrors of sinking always looming but never happening. That ever present threat of something wonderful or horrible happening and then feeling like your whole body is being torn apart with anticipation. Telling a child she won't see her father for a year is like telling an adult they won't see them for ten years. It just seems so far away... so distant and daunting.

Snooping around the Internet I found a few sites compiling lists of conservative actors, entertainers, rock stars, etc. There are some very interesting people on these lists. Some are considered to be conservative based on groups or organizations they belong to while others have stated they are conservative. Some of the lists I found were simply showing Republicans... but not all Republicans are conservative so you have to look into what the person does, not just their political affiliation.
1. Forum listing out conservative celebrities (some examples below... the list is long). Looking into this post further, many of the entertainers named are Republican... not necessarily conservative.
- Ricky Schroeder
- Tom Selleck
- Denzel Washington
- Tom Clancy
- Tony Danza
- Sarah Michelle Gellar (Prince, now)
- Kelsey Grammar
- Travis Tritt
- Chuck Norris
- James Woods
- James Reynolds
- Bruce Willis
- Clint Eastwood
- Jimmy "JJ" Walker - Check out his site here
- Sample of one of his posts regarding Obama: " Nothing from nothing leaves nothing"... That sums up the " Golden Boy" of the Democratic Party... Barack Obama... Obama has been annointed the Savior of the Democratic Party... But what has he done or said?... NOTHING... Until the Democratic Convention of 2004 when you mentioned the name Barack Obama... people thought you talking about Osama Bin Laden... Obama doesn't seem to be a bad guy...but there's nothing of substance in anything he's said or done ... maybe that's what so appealing about him to so many people ... he's managed to say a lot of nothing...
3. The PasadenaClosetConservative had a post recently that listed out actors and why they are considered conservative.
- Patricia Heaton is honorary chair of the national anti-abortion organization Feminists for Life.
- Tom Selleck donated several firearms from his movies to the NRA Museum.
- Angie Harmon openly defends herself against race-baiters who are upset that she disagrees with President Barack Hussein Obama.
- Craig T. Nelson vowed to stop paying taxes until politicians start representing him.
4. And I have to say "wow" because on the first page of my Google hit for conservative actors I found one of my own posts. It is still a big way that people find this blog.
5. Voight: Turned conservative after Marxist Left Caused and Ignored Vietnam/Cambodia Slaughter (June 10, 2009)
- BECK: You've got to be taking heat. Are you ever going to work again?
VOIGHT: Well, someone said on a program on CNN that it would be a miracle if I worked again. And, of course, look, if the Hollywood crowd wants to go back to the '50s, if they haven't learned a lesson and they want to blacklist somebody, well, that's what will happen. But my losing a job is not so important. I can take care of myself pretty good and I'll be okay. But I'm concerned about the millions of people who will lose jobs, who are losing jobs, who have children, and they need those jobs to feed their families. Listen, it’s a serious time. So I'm not so worried about myself.
BECK: You were, first of all, do you think it was a coincidence that you were blown up at the end of 24?
VOIGHT, LAUGHING: Talk about prophecy.
6. And the actor I just recently found on Twitter... Scott Baio.
>Actors beware... people CARE what you think!

Thanks to Clifton for letting me know Lee put these videos out!
On a promissing note, our son has never been shown the Story of Stuff in his school. Not sure how he escaped that bit of terror, but it's good news!
And there you have it... a little more FACT to add to your day.
I had never seen nor heard of this video until it was brought up on the radio. Often children neglect to mention what they have seen and heard at school and we go about our lives never knowing that they have had lies forced into their brains. As far as they know, we believe the same thing being taught at school. Along comes the day when they see us doing something they were taught is wrong and they come unglued. This causes disrespect from our kids which leads to misbehavior which can lead to the loss of a grand relationship that can be had between parent and offspring when the child becomes an adult. That doesn't mean we all have to agree 100% with our children or our parents... what it means is that we, as parents, need to protect our children from lies so that they can grow up in a healthy environment. Whether or not they hate us for it is another story.

The Story of Stuff found here is being shown in our schools without permission from parents. This is extremely upsetting because the schools are encouraging just one view point.
(BEGIN 'STORY OF STUFF' VIDEO CLIP)
NARRATOR: And that brings us to the golden era of consumption. This is the heart of the system, the engine that drives it. It is so important that protecting this arrow has become the top priority for both of these guys. That's why, after 9/11, when our country was in shock and President Bush could have suggested any number of appropriate things, to grieve, to pray, to hope. No, he said to shop. To shop!(END VIDEO CLIP)
(BEGIN 'STORY OF STUFF' VIDEO CLIP)
NARRATOR: Like BFRs, brominated flame retardants, they are chemicals that make things more fire-proof. But they are super toxic. They are neurotoxins. That means toxic to the brain.
What are we even doing using a chemical like this? Yet we put it in our computers, our appliances, couches, mattresses, even some pillows. In fact, we take our pillows. We douse them in a neurotoxin, and we bring them home and put our heads on them for eight hours a night to sleep. Now, I don't know, but it seems to me, in this country, with so much potential, we could think of a better way to stop our heads from catching on fire at night. (END VIDEO CLIP)
BLOG POSTS BY "STORY OF STUFF" REGARDING GLENN BECK
Glenn Beck’s Latest Target: Us!
In May 2009, the New York Times called The Story of Stuff “a sleeper hit in classrooms across the country.” We’re honored that teachers from middle school through university are using our film to spark debate and engage students in critical thinking.
Maybe Next Time, Glenn…
We appreciate the new viewers, Facebook friends, contributions and other support that Beck has generated for us, but rather than respond to his outrageous claims, we’re going to stay focused on building the more sustainable, safe and just world our children, and all of us, deserve.
Barack Obama speeds us along into Socialism and does it in such a fashion that we are left in the dust trying to see five feet in front of our faces. The change he offers is not offered... it is forced upon us and done so in such a turbo-boost way that it is a full time job to keep up with all he is doing to change our country.
Obama Taking U.S. in ‘Descent into Marxism,’ Soviet-Era Newspaper Commentary Says
The article claimed that America’s descent took place in three stages:
“The final collapse,” said the Pravda article, “has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America’s short history, but in the world. If this keeps up for more than another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemer Republican and at worst Zimbabwe.”
Elaborating on the Obama administration’s now-dominant control over General Motors, Mishin mentioned the firing of its CEO by the administration and now its “‘bold’ move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies.”
Russian “Prime Minister Putin, less than two months ago, warned Obama and UK’s Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster,” the article said.
What does seeing our kids chanting and giving praise to Barack Obama remind you of? Perhaps it reminds you of children praising Hitler? Or maybe God? The lyrics remind us of "Jesus Loves the Little Children" so perhaps it reminds you of that? It could remind you of a cult. Hmmm...
Praising your god is one thing but praising a man who hasn't even proved himself as a great leader is a large red flag that the agenda of Liberals is to indoctrinate as many youth into their special club as possible. Their own belief in Obama as their leader will only go as far as he will go for them.
Visit the Right Guy for more information about the video and lyrics found below:The Right Guy: Only in New Jersey: The Obama Youth A Cappella
Here are the lyrics of the chant:
Mmm, mmm, mmm
Barack Hussein Obama
He said we must all lend a hand
To make this Country strong again
Mmm, mmm, mmm
Barack Hussein Obama
He said we must be fair today
Equal work means equal pay
Mmm, mmm, mmm
Barack Hussein Obama
He said we all must take a stand
To make sure everyone gets a chance
Mmm, mmm, mmm
Barack Hussein Obama
He said red, yellow, black, or white,
All are equal in his sight
Mmm, mmm, mmm
Barack Hussein Obama
Yes, mmm, mmm, mmm
Barack Hussein Obama
Here are the lyrics of the song:
Hello Mr. President we honor you today!
For all your great accomplishments
We all [inaudible] say "hooray!"
Hooray Mr. President, you are number one!
The first black American to lead this great nation!
Hooray Mr. President [inaudible]
[inaudible] economy number one again!
Hooray Mr. President, we’re really proud of you!
We say for all America, the great Red, White & Blue!
So [inaudible] President, we honor you today!
So here's a hearty [inaudible]
Hip, hip hooray! (3x)
Some of the discussion about the chant has focused on the fourth stanza. The words were ripped from "Jesus Loves The Little Children."

This isn't censorship... for two reasons; 1) I am denying everyone who will not identify themselves and 2) this is a blog started and maintained by a free citizen of this country and I am not a journalist and I don't pay anyone (myself included) for making posts or comments to my blog. [Ha... can you imaging me paying myself... I could give myself a raise anytime I want or just refuse to pay... fantastic]
It's amazing to me (although perhaps it shouldn't be) how easily people hide behind the anonymous disguise. It's in this manner that a person does not have to be responsible for his or her own words. They can mouth off or be rude and nasty all they want because no one will know who they are.
Do you kiss your mother with that mouth... nice!
Hey, here's an idea... open up your own blog and make your own posts about issues that are important or interesting to you! Then find other blogs you like and those you don't agree with and make comments while you're LOGGED IN. That way people know who you are and they can reasonably respond.
If you had comments to make to my face, would you hide behind a paper bag? I think not. You would say nothing... or you would find a way to have a civil conversation... or you would be a rude jackass. The big difference is that I would know who you are and you would be responsible for your words... good, bad or ugly (thank you Clint Eastwood!!)
Avoidance is wonderful, isn't it. Just say what you want and don't take the credit or the blame... that sounds much like our government.

Click here for my early post of remembrance for September 11, 2001.
A quote by Rush Limbaugh today..."I want somebody out there who thinks Obama made a great speech today and Bloomberg echoing it, to tell me how it is that our 'fractured sense of community service' led to the 'crimes' committed against us on 9/11. And I want to know from you how it is that rekindling this 'spirit of community service,' whatever the hell that means, is going to prevent the next attack on this country." -Rush Limbaugh
I want to share a few thoughts today as I realize just how strong I still feel about what happened... now 8 years ago... and the fact we're still dealing with it.
May we never forget the attack on our country and our people. Why? Denial can only lead to more pain. The politics that have occurred since this attack have only led to more ond more open wounds between citizens who do not agree. The small percentage of human beings called politicians whom we have given power to, laugh at how easily Americans can be prodded into the political coliseum where we engage in cock fighting at the mere drip of disagreement. How angry we all are… how angry I am.
Last year I was depressed when 9/11 snuck up on me… this year I am angrier than ever. Not every day… not at those around me… I am angry that political agendas have wiggled under the skin of Americans and given us all a cancer. Anger can be a great asset... but when anger is created for the enjoyment of others it is a cancer. I can feel the burning anger towards our government. Perhaps that is the agenda of the terrorists? If so... I would say it's working.
Political agendas be damned!
We are being told the enemy does not exist and that we, American citizens, are the evil terrorists. They point their political fingers at us and tell us how bad we are and expect what? Repentance for things we have not done? Perhaps they expect us to beg them to cleanse us. With what… their dirty conniving hands? No… the enemy is not within… the enemy is sitting in the bleachers laughing at us. Politicians consort with terrorists and therefore become terrorists. When was the last time you didn’t feel terrorized when you heard the media telling you that you’re a racist or a hater or a stupid conservative bigot? I consider that terrorism… mental abuse, if you will.
So on this memorial of September 11, 2001, I am not depressed… I am angry that our “protectors of freedom” (our military) have never truly been allowed to defend our freedoms but instead have had to play politics and bow to the will of liberal agendas and other such nonsense. Like holding back the lion from its prey until it dies from starvation, we hold back our military with threats of law suits or dishonorable discharges if they dare to defend themselves let alone their country to their fullest ability. Let our warriors fight… let them win with honor.
The question does come up… have we really won the war… is there still a war going on… do our men and women warriors even know where they stand or why they are fighting?
